DIY Insect Bite Treatment
Also good for abrasions, skin irritations, bruises, sprains, diaper rash, acne, and fungus!
This DIY Peppermint Clay Insect Bite Treatment is a great natural way to relieve minor skin irritations while delivering great benefits to your skin!
I discovered this and several other great recipes in one of La Lune Naturals many e-books!
Of course, you don’t have to go with that brand if you have a favorite.
I happen to like their products because they are the first I tried for making my own skin treatments or home remedies(and the e-books are a great plus!)

Ingredients
- Indian Healing Clay (La Lune Naturals)
- 1-2 Drops La Lune Naturals Peppermint Essential Oil
- Distilled Water
Directions
Make a thick paste of clay and distilled water. Use as much clay as needed to cover the infected area. *I suggest adding a little water at a time as you mix(just like making pancake batter). This will ensure a creamier texture without the extra mixing!
Add a few drops of peppermint oil.
Apply to skin. Re-apply as needed!
