Julep Monthly Maven Box April
I always get so excited when my Julep Maven Box comes in (even though I already know what’s inside)!
In case you haven’t heard yet…Julep helps you find your “style profile” and customizes a monthly box full of goodies that get sent straight to your door!
Each box comes with a coupon and sometimes they send bonus surprise products or candies that fit the current theme.
The products are interchangeable, so if you don’t like something in your box you can swap it out! The best part is that it’s not JUST nail polish….monthly boxes come with a fun mix of different products from your maven “style profile” to include makeup, hair products, skin care, beauty tools, & more!
April’s box featured the limited edition “Paradise Collection” that’s kicking off this month!
Here’s what I got in my Bombshell Box:
- Don’t Leave Your Brows At Home in Cool Brown- Brow & Powder Brush
- Bombshell Nail Color in Drew
- Bombshell Nail Color in Cassidy
- Brow-To Guide
- $10 Coupon on a $20 Purchase
- GOBSTOPPERS!
Another great feature that Julep offers are “Jules”. You get points as you shop, points for taking your monthly box, and they’ll even give them to you if your box is late or you didn’t get what you’d hoped for! You don’t have to get each box, so even though you sign up you don’t have to pay for it during selective months if you don’t want it.
Jules can be used to purchase products or towards your monthly box! I like the Jules program because it’s not like the points you get at Ulta or Sephora. Those take forever to get something for free, or they just give you a coupon (again takes like a year).
Or….you go to the store all excited because you have two reward cards (fully punched) that you forgot about and can’t wait to get $20 OFF….then they tell you that the program is no longer active.
Yes, that happened to me at Bare Minerals and the girl felt bad for me so she gave me a free mini makeup brush. It was nice, but it wasn’t $20 OFF 🙂 .
One last tidbit about why I love Julep:
The polish is formulated with oxygen technology for healthy nails, it’s free from harmful toxins, and it’s cruelty-free!
Don’t Leave Your Brows At home
Brow Powder & Brush
Comes in the following shades:
- Taupe
- Cool Brown
- Warm Brown
- Rich Brown
Pro Tip from Julep:
Start in the middle of your brow and work your way out to either side. Emphasize your arch and tail for a bolder look, but go easy on your inner brow. Once you’re done, use Lock Down Your Brows to tame any flyaways.
Bombshell Nail Color- Drew
Finish: Crème
Pro Tip from Julep:
1. Start with a base coat. This protects your nails from damage and staining, and creates a smooth base for your nail polish.
2. Apply nail polish in thin layers, and give each coat time to dry before applying the next. This helps your color dry evenly and quickly.
3. To extend the life of your manicure, start each layer by sealing your free edges. Lightly brush nail polish across the edge and under the tip of each nail.
4. To make your nail polish pop, apply a layer of white polish between the base coat and color.
5. Finish with a top coat to protect your nail polish against chips. Reapply every couple of days to keep your manicure looking fresh.
Bombshell Nail Color- Cassidy
Finish: Crème
What it does:
- Dries Extra Fast
- Allows 30% More Oxygen to the Nail Bed (over other brands)
- Reveals Stronger, Harder, & More Conditioned Nails (2 weeks of use)
- Extends the Life of your Manicure or Pedicure
Pro Tip from Julep:
Follow the same tips when applying as the “Drew” polish listed above!
