Haircuts For Short Curvy Women

Finding a guide on haircuts for short curvy women isn’t easy. It’s the same for short slender women, or tall curvy women.
There are no “rules” to what type of cut you should get.
Everyone is different, and your face shape is important to consider as well. I prefer not to focus on body type as much.
The most important thing is that you feel confident no matter what size or height you are, because if you don’t then your haircut won’t make a difference.
If you’re not happy with how you look, then that’s the first thing you should change…rather than going drastic with your haircut. A lot of people do that, and it often results in a haircut they don’t feel comfortable wearing.

Here’s a great Q&A reference from a reader:
Hello,
I am 18 years old and i really dont know what type of haircut to go for. I do know that I fall under curvy, although I am short (5’1) and I like how my shape is.
At times I don’t like my hips…they are like 42 inches wide around and I just feel at times stressed out because I just don”t know what to go for and my face shape is round can you personally give me any suggestions!
Thanks,
Anabella

Anabella-
First of all I say think about what it is that you like.
Forget about size, shape, and style…what do you really like?
Is there a cut you saw on someone and absolutely loved? I just chopped my hair off…it was past my bra and now it’s above my shoulders. I thought that I needed to lose a few pounds before doing it, but I look smaller than I did with all that hair.
It all depends on the person and I do believe in proportion, so keep that in mind. Yes, my hair is short in length but not the layers. I have a lot to work with where as a sleek bob the same length would not look right.
Don’t worry about how wide your hips are…trust me!
I turned 25 in October and halfway through my quarter life crisis(lol) I have accepted my hips.
I had them in high school…I have them now and turns out you like them more the older you get! It’s never about sizes or numbers…it’s about how you feel.
I can’t remember the last time I took my measurements and if I do it again it won’t be unless I’m ready to lose inches. It’s not fun to take measurements that don’t change, so just hide the tape measure…works wonders 🙂

I hope that helps, let me know if there are any styles you like and I’ll help you. If there aren’t any I can suggest something for you!
