To get started, pick a gold and a sparkly red polish(they are using Margot Bombshell and Neely from the Jingle Bells box) and follow these simple steps:

1) Paint one coat of Gold, then let dry completely.

2) Dab a makeup sponge with the red glitter polish

3) Blot the makeup sponge on the tip of the nail to create the ombré effect.

Then, add the top coat, and you’re done!

*Tip: The secret to making your manicure last is all about how you prep your nails before you polish them. Make sure that your nail bed is free from any oils or lotions. Next, apply a pH balancing agent (OPI Bond-Aid is my favorite). If you don’t have one, then just rub each nail with a cotton ball and acetone!

This step is quick, easy, and it is what makes your nail polish “stick”. Don’t forget the top coat, because that will prevent against chipping!
