I love this soft waves hair tutorial from the small things blog!

Wavy hair is all the rage…now, and always! Everyone loves wavy hair, but if you don’t have it naturally then it can be hard to master the look.

Simply curling your hair won’t do the trick, and flat iron ribbons can take some practice.

As with most styles, you need to start with the right products and a good haircut. If you hair was cut poorly, then you won’t be as happy when you style your hair…no matter what you do with it.

For this type of style I like a good leave-in conditioner(to protect and moisturize the hair), texturizing spray and hairspray. Everyone’s hair is different, so you may need different products that better suit your needs.

Here are my favorites:

If you’re not sure which products are right for you, check out my product comparison charts for every hair type. If your hair is straight, then you may need something with a little more hold(like mousse) rather than a leave-in conditioner. If your hair already has texture, then you may not need the texturizing spray. Feel free to contact me if you’re not sure what’s best for your hair type!
