Best Mascara Remover
Most of my “best of” posts include my favorite products from a specific category, like- Best Waterproof Makeup, Best Root Boosters, Best Hairsprays, Top 5 Best Moisturizers, Top 10 Summer Products, and The Best Makeup Kit From Your Favorite Brands. This time I’m really only sharing the best one.
There aren’t many great mascara remover products out there(except for some really expensive products that I consider to be more pricey than the average amount that most people are willing to spend).
I’ve used…
- Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towels
- Garnier Makeup Remover Wipes
- Cottonelle Fresh Care Clothes*
- Huggies Baby Wipes*
- Neutrogena Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover
- Clinique Cream Eye Makeup Remover
- Dermalogica Pre Cleanse
- Washable & Reusable Makeup Remover Cleansing Clothes
…and I’m probably forgetting a few! Mascara Melt Off by Too Faced is definitely a product that I’ll continue to use!
*I know…those aren’t meant for makeup removal…but sometimes you get desperate.

Before receiving this sample from our Too Faced Rep at Ulta Beauty, I had already planned to stop using my makeup remover towels and replace them with a better skin care regimen(I’m going back to Clinique 3-Step!).
The Neutrogena brand removal wipes were better at removing makeup than the Garnier wipes, but they left more of a “residue” on my skin. On the latter, the Garnier makeup remover wipes left my skin feeling dry and slightly sticky.
Mascara is no joke…whether you’re using a pro brand or one from the drugstore. It looks great, it’s necessary, and it’s a huge pain to get off every night!
One of the reasons why I love this mascara remover from Too Faced is that it’s a mascara wand. This product is easy to use and it won’t damage your eyelashes.
Why did I think it was okay to vigorously rub my eye area with a wipe or a cotton square?
Why did I think it was okay to vigorously rub my eye area with a wipe or a cotton square? I’ve been ruining my eyelashes and I didn’t even realize it! Not only that, but those methods will leave a trace of mascara all over half of your face, which creates more work before bed.
Here are a few tidbits about Mascara Melt❤Off Cleansing Oil:
- Antioxidant-rich Green Tea extract infused to help protect lashes
- Rice Lipids Extract to help condition lashes
- 97% said it removed waterproof mascara easily
- 97% said it left lashes feeling soft and conditioned
